What’s the difference between Live Answering and Voice AI?

Live Answering means a live, trained receptionist picks up your calls during business hours — ideal for complex conversations, warm transfers, and building a personal connection with your callers. Voice AI is an automated system that can have a conversation using natural language artificial intelligence to greet callers, gather information, book appointments, and much more. Just like a normal conversation. Many businesses use both: Live Agents during the day, Voice AI overnight.  Others use Voice AI 24/7.  It’s just that good!

What are your fees for services?

It depends on which services you will be using!  Live Answer is based on the number of calls we answer and how much time our receptionists spend on your calls.  Rates start at $395 per month.  Automated AI Services range from $195 to $495 per month.  Very large or complex accounts can be substantially higher.  And there is a small one-time set-up fee.

Is your Free Trial really free?

Absolutely.  We offer a two-week free trial on all our service offerings.  We want you to make sure we are a good fit for your company before you pay a dime.  We don’t even ask for a credit card to start your trial.

How long does it take to start service with you?

Our Live Receptionist service usually takes about 48 hours.  Sometimes, sooner if there is an emergency.  The set-up for our AI services is a little more complex and can occasionally take up to two weeks.

Do you require a long-term contract?

No.  All our plans are month-to-month and can be cancelled at any time.  We must earn your business every month!

Are your receptionists US-based?

Yes, all our staff are based in California.

What are your business hours?

We answer live 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday, Pacific Standard Time.  During after-hours and weekends, we offer standard voice mail, or you can use our premium AI Voice service.  AI Voice can answer caller questions, book appointments in your calendar, take orders and send documents, directions or confirmations to the caller!  They’ll never know it is AI!
